I have used Frontline / frontline plus since it first hit the shelves (20 plus years) and always had good results. This past July my vet started us with Simparica, I only used it 5 months no fleas / ticks, it's a chewable. I can't say if it's better then the frontline plus as my dogs were always flea and tick free when on the frontline and I live in a very heavily wooded area with lots of wild animals and feral cats.
