Hi there,

I'm a first-time dog owner/buyer. I grew up with terriers and yorkies and I'm finally looking for one of my own! I feel a little overwhelmed searching for one on the internet. Does anyone have any advice? Trusted websites? I also heard something about waiting lists? I'm open to adopting from a shelter, a puppy from a breeder, etc... It doesn't need to be AKC. I just want a healthy happy dog friend to add to the family.

Also, if anyone knows of any trusted breeders or shelters, I would love to hear your suggestions! I live in Massachusetts but I have family in Delaware and Pennsylvania as well.
