I wonder if something happened - like, he got injured, or something. Jackson can be quirky like that sometimes too. My lamp on my nightstand fell over once and it totally freaked him out. He didn't want to come in my room for a few days. Or he will see a fly or a bug and then doesn't want to come in lol. He's weird.
I would just keep doing what you're doing for now -- using yummy treats to try to show him it's okay. Do you have a night light or a TV on at night? Maybe having a little light will help? |
