Cali was 9 weeks old when I got her and within a few days developed the cough so i took her to the vet and she had kennel cough, they gave her antibiotics and worm medicine because she also had coccidia. She gave the kennel cough to my 8 year old pom and it took them both 3 months to get completely rid of the cough. They would cough more at night and first thing in the morning. They both acted fine. Plenty of energy. I would tak her in to get an antibiotic just to make sure it doesn't develop into pneumonia. Cali is almost 9 months old now and still getting her to eat each day is a struggle. I have tried everything. The vet told me today to try her on baby food and try and sprinkle garlic powder or chicken broth on her food to entice her. I hope she is bettre soon.
