Oh, and yes the amylase and lipase are usually elevated with pancreatitis.....but interestingly they can be elevated and it not be pancreatitis. It is always good to do a cPLI when they are elevated....and I would think maybe even if not elevated if the symptoms were there.
If he is eating and not vomiting now, it is doubtful. I am glad that you found a specialist you could speak with!
