Acepromazine for example is essentially a tranquilizer with no anti-anxiety effects. It doesn't really make them FEEL better, they just can't do as much about it. It just kind of makes them sedate. I've heard of some who give the ace with an anti-anxiety.

Something like Xanax or Trazadone or Clonidine you could look into.
