Default Desperately need advice

I have an 8 month Yorkie named Levi. He is such a good puppy with ONE EXCEPTION...When we're not home he has started to pee on 2 pieces of furniture. He has always used potty pads and it's never been an issue before...but since we had him fixed he will not stop pee'ing on the end table leg and the back of one of our living room chairs. This just started in the past 3 weeks and now we cannot get him to stop! Is there anything I can spray on the furniture or anything I can do to distract him from doing this? Thankfully we don't have carpet, but we have to somehow resolve this issue and I am clueless as what to do. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you get your puppy to stop?!?!?
