Love Working family. Unsure if we should adopt this cute little girl.

So I'm scheduled to meet my potential new Yorkie girl on Saturday. We are excited to get her but also have reservations because both me and my husband are still working. We had another dog but we were able to leave him at home all day while we worked. Our new baby girl Yorkie is one year one month old and the current owner has only left her for four hours at a time. If we got her we wouldn't be able to take her to work and would have to leave her at home for an eight hour period. My question for you all is is there anyone that also works and has to leave their doggie at home during the day? And if so, how well do they do? The current owner has assured me that she is well trained and does not have separation anxiety, but that's for a four hour period. Not sure how she'll do for eight hours being alone by her self. Please help. I just want to do the best thing for everyone. Thank you so much in advance!
