What I'm wondering is why is it okay for some dogs to have dreads and they just distinctively know not to scratch and put their nails in their dreads are you saying? But dogs like a Yorkie wouldn't know not to scratch The dreads in their hair? I'm confused on why it is so bad for a Yorkie to have dreads is all I would like to find out.. My dog starts to get matted at the roots and I have to pull it apart just like you would a dreadlock, I'm curious to know if I were to let these matted little pieces keep going and twist them up and keep them well maintained and all of relatively the same size why would it be so bad for the dog?? And I scratch my head and it doesn't hurt me it doesn't hurt to scratch dreadlocks all dogs are going to scratch even the ones that have dreads, and the dogs that you're talking about that grow dreads naturally if you want them to look nice you have to take care of them and keep them well maintained also. If anyone could answer my question I am just curious to know why it would be so bad to dread a Yorkie if they don't have silky straight hair they have thicker hair that tends to Matt at the roots and if you kept the dreads well maintained would it hurt the dog in anyway..? |
