He's still at the vet. He hadn't pooped yet, so they gave him an enema. Then they were going to try and feed him some gerbers chicken and rice to see if he'll keep that down.
He said that a lot of times after surgery and anesthesia they can get constipated. He said X-rays this morning didn't show anything to be concerned about and everything else is looking good.
If he poops and doesn't throw up after the feeding, then he said we could bring him home this afternoon. That way if he's not doing well still we could get him back in to the vet before they close.
So, at this point we're just crossing our fingers and waiting. |
