Sometimes even reputable breeders have dogs with LP. Sometimes even two perfect yorkies can make a pup with LP. I'm so sorry about your experience and I'm glad she is ok now. My first yorkie I bought from what turned out to be a broker who go there pups from a puppy mill. Like 6 years ago she had issues and went to the specialist and found out it was LP and her ACl partially tore (LP puts strain on the ACL) and then two years ago she had the LP surgery on the other knee and her ACL tore a year latter so another surgery. Both she had issues with the pins. Whatching her suffer pissed me off because she is so loving and sweet. Then I found out reputable breeders will breed a dog with low grade LP.
