I wish I could consider letting my yorkies out in the same way I do my collies, but I can't because of predatory birds: owls, hawks, etc. although, I have an acre completely fenced in, the birds have taken several animals in our county.
Rosie, a friend's Chin,was taken from an awning covered back deck. My friend was right inside her slider and saw her screaming exit.
