Hi and welcome to YT. Is this your first yorkie and her first bath? Sounds like pretty normal behavior to me. Some learn to like it, some tolerate, and some hate it. I do mine in the kitvchen sink, but there is the risk of them trying to jump, but it saves the back. I don't put water in the sink, I just use the sprayer. Then blowdry.
