What immediately comes to mind with the curly coat is poodle, or another breed with curly coat.

The ears lol, well they are quite wide set which can tend to emphasize their size.

It is quite possible that one or even both can be Yorkies just not well bred ones. It is incredibly difficult to breed to the standard for Yorkies and sometimes even show breeders have a pup or two with bad coats either in texture or Colorado or both. Ditto with ear set n size.
