If you don't get the yearly testing the warranty on the meds is void. If you get yearly testing and give your pet heart worm meds from the vet and your dog still gets heart worms then the company will pay for the treatment which is over $1,000 but if you don't do the yearly blood work and get your meds from your vet they wont cover it. Like I said you should be doing yearly blood work any way to check and make sure your dog is in good health so they can do the heart worm test at the same time.
