I agree that seeing someone more knowledgeable about trachea problems in Yorkies would help. Some Yorkies have quite a tendency for this genetic issue. A good joint supplement has been known to help slow down deterioration of the trachea.

There may be previous Yorkie Talk threads about Yorkie trachea problems. You could do a search at the bottom of the page. Just make sure you check the Yorkie Talk box underneath. Doing a full Google search may bring up some useful info, too. Don't give up. Help is out there.
