We were given a belly band when we adopted our boy. The woman said some males mark when in a new house with dogs and others will mount another dog. The bellly ban stops both she said. It is sort of crescent snapped with a place for haft a pad and Velcro to close it.
Can't say if it works because our boy neither marked or mounted. The rescue felt they were great for dogs who needed them.
