Yorkies do not shed, do not have an undercoat, do not have FUR, their hair is like human hair, reason why it's referred to as HAIR, because that is what it is lol. If a yorkie is left in long coat their hair must be brushed daily and hair will be found in the brush. Lulu being a mix you will have to wait and see what his hair turns out to be. When the time is right weather wise (warm weather) I would have him groomed with a puppy cut and let his hair grow out, this way you will have a better idea what type of coat he will have.
