Welcome to YT...... My now passed girl as an adult weighed in at 17 pounds, no fat,just a BIG yorkie with a sleek beautiful body. Yorkies come in all weights and sizes, not just the wee tiny ones lol. My adopted boy is 12 pounds. My girl lived to be 17 years old. I would say when a dog reaches the age of 10 years old they are considered seniors. My girl started losing her sight and hearing around 15 yo, dementia started shortly after her 16th birthday. We have members who have larger then standard (5 to 7 Lbs) yorkies.
