My gut was they bred. My male couldn't do it before and tried but when we came home I assumed the blood was from them mating. She was spotting before while in heat but this was more and they weren't hurt and both were fine so they didn't get hurt and bled on floor. vet said they don't bleed the first mating . Then she was throwing up for an hour Wednesday and I assumed morning sickness vet said they don't ha e morning sickness. My gut was telling me she was leg ant.
I just don't know how they can feel and say she isn't pregnant. Maybe she isn't and he is right but in 10 days if she acts any different and has anymore symptoms I will do the X-ray.
Mentor thinks I should have the X-ray done in 10 days |
You need a new vet because that information is false. You can not feel puppies after 31 days because the uterus fills with fluids to protect the fetuses. Fluid does leak out after dogs tie sometimes it's might have a reddish tent due to blood from the female in heat. Also dogs do experience morning sickness along with mood swings. X-rays are best done at 56 days earliest I would do it is 50 days so puppies are calcified enough to show clearly on x-rays.
