Excellent advice!

I might add that you set your alarm for those times too, so that it's the alarm that is triggering him to wake up instead of his internal clock.
It helps for days you may want to sleep in.

And also, it's a good question: what time do you last take him potty? Mine are the same as Matese - they have a last potty before going to bed around 10/11pm and we get up at 6am for morning potty.
