I was like you when I had my little Keally. She was born with genetic IBD and it was awful but we managed it very well. I would cry thinking about losing her it drove me crazy. One day at twelve and a half years Keally looked at me trying to say to me I will not make another summer. When the time came we stood by her side like she did for my husband and I. Our vet was very helpful. You may have a lot more time with Jaycee than you think so take a day at a time. Every day is precious gift with her so love her and try some different things for her to eat. Maybe your vet can guide you on feeding. When Keally passed we knew she wanted us to be happy and go on so we did get another precious baby now going on seven years old. I hope all goes well for you and I pray you have her for a few years more. She knows she has a good mom and a wonderful home. Susan
