Our current neighborhood is like yours with the grass meeting the street. No sidewalks or curbs. The lawns are not perfect because it is a woodsy area, so I don't worry about the pee burning perfectly manicured grass.

Unlike many of my neighbors, I keep my boys from marking mailbox posts and garbage cans and flowers/shrubs. Irks me that some people let their dogs mark our recycling toter that we bring into the garage.
