Your poor dog's allergy condition looks miserable - and when quality of life is as such - you need to give medication. If they're tired at first, who cares...? Let them be tired - that will get better. Just give this kiddo some relief, fast, before things get even worse.

You need to have the paw issue sampled and grown in culture as this could be yeast or something else. If it's yeast, Apoquel and the other meds you're giving will absolutely nothing to help...nothing at all. You'd need an oral anti-fungal, most likely for up to 6 weeks.

I would not give that product you linked to - it will not help.

When skin issues and ear issues recur like this - you truly NEED to rule-out thyroid issues and Cushings disease.

I'll give apoquel another try, but I see what you mean, if its yeast than the apoquel won't work. I'll try seeing if apoquel works first then I'll bring it up with the vet.

Thanks for commenting on the licks product, I'll go return it at the pet store.

I was just so wary of giving her so much medicine. I love that this site is available to be able to get comfort with other yorkie owners and get advice from them.

I have thought of cushings disease previously and vet said it could be a potential but have not done thorough testing. I looked up the symptoms and she also has a pot belly look to her. I really hope its not the case. I'll get some testing done.
