I'm so sorry for your loss. The pain of losing a beloved pet is immense. The feeling of numbness, I'd imagine, is fairly common after experiencing something as traumatic as losing a pet. And you can always take comfort in that you provided Boomer a loving home and a great life. You'll be grieving possibly for a long time, but in time you will start to feel more normal and better. Your broken heart will eventually mend. |
