Some years back I had two females that were not spayed, (my stupidity) when they came into season only one would hump her toys the other one was ok. I would just let your girl be, discourage her using your arm, give her a toy to use. Her cycle will soon be over, you will have her spayed and her need to hump will be over. And BTW, there is no such thing as asking an "embarrassing" question lol.
