If I can remember my Vet said 10 % food reduction it's slow but safe. I am going through this with my Lily she is one year put never seemed to loss the baby fat , she is a bigger dog than Bella but there is no hour glass figure LOL. Bella also gains some in the winter for the same reasons you have but maybe a 1/2 lb and losses it in the spring when the snow goes. I am in the middle of a food change after almost 4 year for Bella because of allergy's all the meds the Vet has tried but nothing seems to work well so we are taking chicken out to see if that helps How I hate the food battle LOL. |
