Welcome to YT. First, is your baby dog friendly, have you socialized her with other dogs, does she like dogs and is she friendly with them. If that question is YES Your baby at 9 months old is A BABY. A rescue of 2 or even 3 years old would be perfect for your girl. Some members have adopted / rescued yorkies younger then 2 yo. If you do find one I suggest before bringing home a rescue have a meet and greet not at your home and not at the rescue center, away from the rescue place, see how the rescue is with your puppy. Your baby will accept who ever you bring home because she is still a puppy, you have to be more concerned with a rescue dog, make sure the rescue is dog friendly. Your girl at 9 months old will still pounce in the face of another dog when playing, you want to make sure the rescue will tolerate the pouncing. The younger the rescue is the better.
