Aww...sorry to hear about Thumper's anxiety! I don't have experience with the thundershirt. I've used melatonin before and it worked for Scottie's nighttime barking. And it's true that it does take time for it to kick in. Poor baby... hope he's doing better soon!
Just curious, but does he only have anxiety when his brother is not around? If that's the case, maybe after today, try spending more one-on-one time with each of them separately so they don't get too attached and become anxious when the other is not around.
For the thundershirt thing, how about wrapping a shirt or something around his body tightly? I read that it's the tight feeling around their body that makes them feel better.
