Yes, Lymphoma does spread very fast & they will usually get you in ASAP. Also your vet is correct in NOT giving anything til his appt as something given now could postpone the Chemo & you Don't want that, If you choose Chemo. My Holistic vet told us there are things he could give Sparky that work just as well as Chemo & also told us that it would NOT give Sparky any longer as far as remission. He told us to decide what route we wanted to go & let him know. I really like him as he does NOT try to cover up the hard facts of this nasty disease. We chose to do the Chemo but went with supportive care from our Holistic vet & Sparky did really well. As far as the good & bad cells, be SURE to ask the oncologist about this as it definitely makes a difference. I think Sparky really only had 5 bad days throughout & he basically just slept all day but never stopped eating or drinking.
