I have that black one too! It was good for one but is a bit small for both. Occasionally I've made them squeeze in there for a quick trip into a store.
I found a big bag that they can both fit in comfortably with plenty of ventilation. But, I quickly realized there was no way I was going to carry them through the airport. So, I ended up getting a roller bag that's also a backpack for them when we fly. It's great because I can carry them until I check my other bags then roll them through the airport.
