I don't know how old your baby is but my Sparky has lymphoma & has been in remission now for 4 1/2 yrs. He will not die from the cancer as he's been in kidney failure for a couple of yrs now & has been on RX food & Azodyle & Epakitin for nearly a yr now for the kidney failure. We know he will not live forever but have no regrets in choosing the Chemo. My vet AND Sparkys Oncologist told us there is good success with Chemo these days but it depends on the stage & IF the cancer has entered any organs AND if the cells are the good cells or the bad cells. Sparky had stage 4 lymphoma and the good cells & he was 9 yrs old at diagnosis. We chose to do the Chemo BUT also contacted a Holistic vet who sent us vits, supplements and a couple of home cooking recipes to help support Sparkys little body through the Chemo & he barley missed a beat. Sparkys Oncologist told us life expectancy is 6 mo to 3 yrs with the majority being 12 to 14 months, so we just didn't tell Sparky those odds because we didn't want to discourage his recovery Prayers for your baby & for you.
