Your baby is adorable.

Yorkie puppy coat can be kind of wild and hard to tame. It can look like split ends for the first few months.

Some Yorkies can also have cotton coat, which is 'softer' than the standard silk and more prone to tangling and breakage.

At such a young age, it's hard to say what kind of adult coat a pup will have. Usually the adult coat is set by one year of age, but sometimes they can continue to change. My Teddy's coat was still changing at age 2 in texture. Color continued to change on my boys until about age 4.

A good shampoo and conditioner made for dogs helps any coat. Testing is the only way to figure out what works best on your pup. Water type and weather can also influence what will work best.
