Got an update from the vet. They couldn't get an iv line in immediately so had to give him shots of fluid between his shoulder blades - but now were able to get an iv in.
Blood tests: Glucose normal. Proten low. Kidney high. Sodium low. CBC shows anemic. Red blood cells low. White blood cells high.
They gave him a shot of Dexamethasone.
She is suspecting Addison Disease and will send off blood sample to get tested.
I am glad he is there but I am so sorry for him. Just wanted to give you an update. |
