I had a pack of 3 girls all 3 years apart, when the 8 week old baby came home it took the 6 yo and the 3 yo almost 2 months to stay on the floor with baby jaws. My older girls (all now passed) had sweet loving personalities, when the baby was appox. 6 mos old all 3 played together zooming through the house lol. The baby was the boss, the baby was "the baby" the two older girls would baby her, wash her face, and basically take care of her. I would say it all depends on each dogs personality, the existing ones and the new puppies, and of course your training of the new baby. It's hard to say will Ted join in and play, he's your dog, you know his personality. My 6 yo held back for a while but when she saw the 3 yo and the baby playing the 6 yo would join in.Good luck on your decision.
