My new little adopted senior came trained. Yeah! However, my daughter was having trouble having her darling two year old to consistently be clean in the house. My daughter had an extended work assignment which resulted in my having her dog for seven weeks.
She started with about one lapse each day, so I did what I've always did with my collies, I taught her to go on command. All my dogs do. Then, if I am faithful to bringing her out regularly, she is clean in the house. I value that highly.
