I wouldn't worry too much at 8 weeks if your pup's ears aren't standing. Max's ears were not standing, if I recall correctly from the breeder's photos.
Ears can go up and down with teething too.
Keep the ears tipped (hair shaved).
There are lots of Yorkies with floppy ears and I think they are just adorable.
