Pancreatitis So sorry to hear your tiny girl was sick. Hope by now she is well on the mend. If she is prone to P which Yorkie tend to be, the raw food is probably too high in fat. Did the vet do a P specific test? I know the test isn't perfect, but they can do a spec CPL test in the office and then a more accurate one later that has to be sent away. The snap test is only qualitative and the other gives numbers that show how bad the P is. When my dog had only a mild P attack, diagnosed by blood and snap tests, he was not very sick and after a week on lean chicken and rice he was fine. Since then I have only fed Hills prescription ID Low Fat kibble. and canned. No treats and I watch any food I do give him for fat content. He has been fine since then.
Of course it may not be P and I am sure the vet has completed the dx by now.
