Crucial advice: give her time she will need to adjust to everything, make her feel safe and secure, and give lots of TLC. And never, ever, EVER allow her off leash outside of the yard. Even if she does fine off leash, you cannot ever predict other loose dogs' behaviors...so just don't ever risk doing it. Get her microchipped asap.

For supplies, you probably are already set, yes....?

To add to this, LOTs of patience while this baby adjusts to new life with new momma. Remember, your moms home will be this baby's THIRD home, even tho she was with you just a few days she was learning to accept you, bond with you, adjusting to her new surrounding, new smells, new schedule, now she will go to your moms, AGAIN, adjusting to new momma, surroundings etc. She "may" have accidents in the house while again making these new adjustments, never scold or raise your voice if potty accidents happen, just show her where she is to potty. Repeat:::: LOTS of PATIENCE.
What a wonderful Christmas present.
