Hi all! I just got my parents a yorkie for Christmas. Their kids are grown and gone, and they could really use a companion. The yorkie (called Kismet unless they decide to rename her) has been living with me in secret for a few days and will be given to them tomorrow. She is not quite a baby (she's 9 months) and already house and crate trained by the time she came to me. In the last few days I have been reading up on Yorkies a TON (which I also did before buying her). I've already read the puppy guide on this website as well as many others, but I'll admit I'm a little overwhelmed by all the info out there!

So as I continue to research, I just wanted to ask you lovely yorkie people: what advice do you think is crucial to a new yorkie owner?
