My two (before the 3 newborn puppies) were in their kennel all day together as I do not have a situation where I can stay home with them during the work day. That is exactly why I got two pups at the same time, and from 12 weeks to 4 1/2 years, two have been WONDERFUL! Extra work? absolutely Extra financial strain? you bet One sick, both sick, me sick? at times, yes -- But if you are in a position to meet the needs of two then, please know that, in my experience, two flourish together - even if home alone during the week.
