I brush their teeth. The vet says they look good so far. They wouldn't let me do it at first but day after day it got easier and now they just sit still and let me do it. I also use the xsmall puppy size ribbed nylabones. Pieces come off here and there and I'm sure they've ate a small piece but I've never had an issue so far. Also, will your groomer brush their teeth? Mine does a thorough brushing for just $10 extra. If you try a few different things, and there's still plaque build up, I would consider doing the dental. I know it's scary to have them go under but teeth issues can cause serious pain. |
