I don't want to vilify her. She was very nice when I went and looked at her puppies and was offering to hand me back my deposit when I didn't find the right one. She said we can rip it up or she would just hold it until her next litter which was due this week. She hasn't cashed the check (I checked). I do feel like something bad happened to the litter from her response which is why I don't want to be so pushy and selfish and ask all these questions right away.

I agree Maltese, I definitely want to send another text but I was just wondering how soon is too soon/insensitive?

That is a lot of money unless you are getting a show dog.
