One of my yorkies had his ears glued when I picked him up. I hadn't heard of this before either but I guess some breeders do it. It made me uncomfortable though so the next day when I brought him to the vet, I made her get it off. It didn't seem to bother him when they were glued but watching her get it off was scary.
I agree that shaving the tips of the ears helps a lot. My other yorkie's ears sometimes flop when he's due for a hair cut. When he gets groomed they go back up. |
