[Bamboo15]

I've been looking to get another yorkie and gave a deposit to a breeder a few weeks back. She said if I didn't find the right puppy she would rip up the deposit check. When I went to her home I didn't find the right puppy but she had a second litter on the way so I said she could hold the deposit check and I would come look at that second litter. She told me to text her this week to check in as they were supposed to have been born last week. I texted her today and she just responded "I don't want to talk about it." I'm a little concerned because I did give her a deposit that was about 1/3 the price of the puppy which is over $2000. As of last week it seemed like everything was fine because she emailed me to tell me the litter still hadn't been born yet. I don't want to bother her if something bad happened to the litter and/or the Mom. How long should I wait before asking about the next step without being insensitive?
