When you walk your Yorkie, you should always have pepper spray with you.

I just came back from a walk in the park with my Biewer. He is not quite 7 months old and only weighs 5.5 lbs. He would not stand a chance against a large dog. While we were in the park, I saw some kids with a rottweiler off his leash. They were playing ball. I went out of my way to avoid them, just as I always do when I see someone with a large dog. I stayed far from them and kept a close eye to make sure that their dog did not follow. Like always, I had my pepper spray ready just in case.

You cannot assume that the owner of a large dog will have that dog under control. Your dog's life can depend on it.
