I'm so sorry you are facing surgery. Deuce stole my heart long ago. He's gorgeous , I have never cut Katie's hair on the bridge of her nose or near her eyes because I really believe the weight of the hair keeps it out of her eyes. Kate has a very thick, silky coat. Years ago, when I had my other three Yorkies, a groomer cut the hair by the eyes and on the bridge of the nose, and it was horrible growing out and was terrible for their eyes. With my first Yorkie a groomer cut it, and I constantly had to cut her hair to keep it out of her eyes.
You do such a beautiful job with Deuce's grooming. I do Katie's topknot once a day, but she doesn't mess with it. Deuce would look beautiful with or without a topknot.
