I am so sure that Max is grateful he does not have to go out all the time in the bitter cold. I had a dog once that would not go out if the weather was pouring down rain. He would wait until he Had to go. Can't blame him. If we still used outhouses to do our business I would not want to go out in bad weather so I can understand.
