I am also over the top about Yorkies, however, we did get a Maltese and we are very happy we did. Our maltese, Sammie, is so laid back, very playful, never moody or sulky or pouty or demanding. He just plays, cuddles and keeps himself very happy. He interacts great with Gracie, the Princess. The two personalities mesh beautifully. Gracie is very high maintenance and Sammie is very low maintenance so it sort of evens out. We have been happy.
PS, we wouldn't take a billion dollars for our yorkie.
