Part of this might have been my fault trying to shower and give Dexter a shower and shampoo at the same time. Perhaps, I didn't get all the shampoo rinsed off.
Due to the cold the furnace is running a lot and until the other day, we never had a humidifier.

Dexter has been rubbing against furniture and I've been gently massaging him.

Any advice for his dry skin???

I bought a leave in conditioner for skin and coat. It is by Warren London hydrating butter with Guava & Mangosteen. It is a non oily intense all natural hydrating treatment. It has a light scent and it has worked for my Joey's coat. You apply a small amount into your hands and rub into skin and coat evenly throughout dry area. Then brush the coat after to help spread the product evenly. The only trouble is I don't remember where I bought it. It is made in the USA. I hope this will be of some use to you. I will try to find out where I got it if you would be interested in getting it. Hope you find the solution. Dry,itchy skin is the worst.
